How to fix Unable to locate package in ubuntu

in ubuntu, if you get unable to locate package error to see, then you can replace old sources list code to latest ubuntu repository code. for this you have to follow the instructions given below.

Note that here I am doing inside my ubuntu operating system which I have installed on Android Mobile, you can do it your Laptop and Pc where you have installed ubuntu. with the help of this process.

1. First of all. you have to open your termux application and login your ubuntu machine.

./start-ubuntu.sh

2. After this you have to open your ubuntu sources.list file so you follow this path.

cd /etc/apt/

3. now you have to edit your source.list file and paste the given code in it.

nano sources.list

 deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports focal main restricted universe multiverse  
 deb-src http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports focal main restricted universe multiverse  

4. after saving the file you have to update your ubuntu machine once.

apt-get update

5. Now you can see that you can install any tool succesfully without any error.
